Aloo masala Sabzi taste pleasing with puri, dal kachori and paranthas. Today we will make potato masala Sabzi.
Ingredients for Aloo Masala
Potato - 400 grams
Tomato - 4 medium size
Green chilly - 2
Ginger - 1 inch piece
Oil - 2 tbsp
Asafoetida - 1 pinch
Cumin seeds - ½ tsp
Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
Coriander powder - 1.5 tsp
Red chilly powder - ¼ tsp
Mango powder - ¼ tsp
Garam masala - ¼ tsp
Green coriander - 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
How to make Aloo Masala
Wash and boil potatoes. Let them get frigid and then peel them.
Finely grind tomatoes, green chilly and ginger in a mixture grinder.
Take oil in pan and place it on flame for heating. Add cumin seeds and asafoetida in hot oil and sauté for while. Now add turmeric powder and coriander powder. Stir with help of a spoon. Also add tomato paste in the masala and sauté until oil starts floating on the surface.
Now add crumbled boiled potatoes, salt, red chilly powder and mango powder. Sauté for 2 minutes. Add 1 glass of water. Cook for 3-4 minutes after it simmers once. Turn of the gas and mix garam masala in the Sabzi.
Spicy and mouth drooling aloo masala Sabzi is ready. Take out piping hot Sabzi n a serving bowl and garnish with green coriander leaves. Serve aloo masala Sabzi with puri, dal kachori or parantha and enjoy eating.
