Broccoli Fry Recipe

The broccoli is beneficial for health. It is anti cancer and anti accident. It is enrich with vitamin c and Iron. It provides minerals and insulin that helps to normalise the blood pressure. You can prepare it according to Indian taste. Let's prepare broccoli fry.

Ingredients Broccoli Fry

  •     Broccoli - 250 gm
  •     Butter - 1 tablespoon
  •     Ginger-1 inch in length
  •     Green Chilly-1
  •     Pepper- 1/4 small spoon
  •     Cumin seed - 1/2 small spoon
  •     Salt- (According to taste) (1/2 small spoon)
  •     Lemon- 1/2 piece
  •     Green coriander-1 table spoon (sliced)

How to make Broccoli Fry

Cut and remove the buds of broccoli and peel the outer stems of it . Cut the stems into 1 inch length and wash the pieces of broccoli with fresh water.

Pour some water in a bowl and provide heat to the bowl When water starts boiling the very moment put the pieces of broccoli in the bowl. Cook it covered for 5 to 6 minutes. The colour of the broccoli will little bit dissappear and become soft.

Now take out the pieces of broccoli in a filter and drive the water.

Put the butter in pan and heat the pan. Put the cumin seed in the pan. when the the cumin seed starts cracking, put green chilli and ginger in it and continue stirring. Now put the pepper and salt in the pan and stir and fry it for 2 to 3 minutes until the water evaporates. squeeze the 1/2 lemon juice in the recipe and mix it well. The broccoli recipe is ready now.

Take out the broccoli recipe in a bowl and garnish it with the coriander powder. You may eat it with chapatti or rice


  • If you want to use onion and garlic for preparing this recipe, peel the buds of garlic, after frying of cumin seed, fry the garlic. After that follow the above methods for preparing the recipe.
