If you get to drink some refreshing juice during scorching heat, it seems really life saving. And if this juice is prepared for Phalsa, it taste heaven. Pour out phalsa juice in a glass and serve. You can even add some ice cubes to it and serve chilled.
Ingredients for Phalsa Sharbat
Phalse - 250 grams (1.5 cup)
Sugar - less than 1/2 cup
Black salt - 1/2 tsp
How to make Phalse ka Sharbat - Phalsa Sharbat
In earlier days, we used to keep phalsa fruit in a cloth and squeeze them to take out the juice. But nowadays its very easy to make its juice in a mixture juicer.
Wash phalse and place them in a sieve and let the excess water drain out. Add sugar and 1/2 cup water in mixture jar. Whisk until sugar dissolves completely. Now add phalse to it and whisk for a while. With this the marrow on the phalsa will get separated from the seeds and mixes well in water. Seeds will remain as it is.
Now add 2 cup more of cold water and whisk for half a minute. Phalse threads and juice will mix well in water. Phalsa juice is ready. You can even add some lemon juice to the juice as well.
Pour out phalsa juice in a glass and serve. You can even add some ice cubes to it and serve chilled.
