Kachche Kele ki Kofta Curry

Children are fond of green banana kofta curry. We generally prepare this recipe at home. Let's prepare the green banana kofta curry.

Ingredients For Kofta

  •     Green Banana- 500 Gms
  •     Besan- 2 tablespoon
  •     Green Chilly- 2 to 3 (cut them into thin pieces)
  •     Ginger-1 inch in length (grated)
  •     Green coriander- 1 tablespoon (sliced coriander)
  •     Garam masala- 1/4 small spoon
  •     Paneer- 100 Gms
  •     Salt- (According to taste)
  •     Oil- To fry kofta


For Tari

  •  
  •     Tomato- 250 Gms
  •     Green Chilli- 2 to 3
  •     Ginger -1 inch in length
  •     Cashew nuts- 25 (soak it before one hour)
  •     Cream- 2 tablespoon
  •     Oil- 2 tablespoon
  •     Asafetida - 1 pinch
  •     Cumin seed- 1/2 small spoon
  •     Turmeric powder-1/2 small spoon
  •     Coriander Powder - 1 small spoon
  •     Red chilli - 1/4 small spoon
  •     Salt- (According to taste)
  •     Garam masala- 1/4 small spoon
  •     Green coriander- 1 tablespoon
     

Method for the preparation of kofta

Cut both sides of the stems of green bananas, wash and put them into the cooker with one glass of water. Cook them till the one whistle comes. Now turn off the gass, release the pressure from the cooker. Now take out the bananas from the water, peel and allow them cool naturally. You can also cook it in a microwave oven for five minutes.

Mush the bananas and put the besan, green chilli, ginger, green coriander, paneer and salt and mixed them properly. Pour two tablespoon of water and mix it.

Put the oil into the pan and provide heat to the pan. Put some amount of mixture into the hot oil. You can make 6 to 7 number of koftas at a time. Turnover the koftas and fry them till they turns brown. Now you take out the koftas in a plate and follow the same method for frying rest of the koftas. Your banana kofta is ready.
Tari

Grind tomato,green chilli and ginger in a grinder. Take out the paste in a bowl. Grind the cashew nuts and raisins make granules of them. Now put the cream and grind again.

Put the oil into the pan and heat it. Fry the cumin seeds and asafetida into the hot oil. When the masala turns into the granules, add the paste of cashew nuts, cream and red chilli powder into the masala till the masala release the oil. Now put 350 Gms of water into the masala, when the masala starts boiling, boil again for 2 minutes. Put the garam masala and salt into the Tari and mix them properly. Now put the koftas into the tari and turn off the gass. The kofta will take 5 munites to be hot.

You banana kofta is ready now. Now take out the recipe in a bowl and garnish it with green coriander. You can eat this kofta with bread, chapatti and naan.
