Patta Gobhi Aloo ki sabzi

Ingredients (Patta Gobhi Aloo ki sabzi) Cabbage and Potato Recipe

  •     Cabbage- 250 gm
  •     Potato- 250 gm
  •     Oil- 1 table spoon Asafetida- 1 pinch
  •     Cumin seed- 1/2 small spoon
  •     Green Chilly- 2 ( cut into thin pieces. )
  •     Ginger-1 inch in length (sliced)
  •     Turmeric Powder- 1/4 table spoon
  •     Coriander Powder- 1/2 small spoon
  •     Red Chilli Powder- 1/4 small spoon
  •     Mango powder -1/4 small spoon
  •     Garam masala- 1/4 small spoon
  •     Salt- (According to taste)1/2 small spoon
  •     Coriander Powder- 1 small spoon (sliced)

How to make Cabbage and Potato Recipe

Peel the potato and wash it. Remove the two leaves of cabbage and cut it thin pieces. Then cut the potato into eight small pieces.

Put the oil in a pan and heat the pan. Put the cumin seed and asafetida in the oil . After the cumin seed is properly fried then put the turmeric powder green chilli , ginger and coriander powder into it. continue stirring.Now put the potato, cabbage, red chilli powder and salt in it and continue stirring. Put one tablespoon of water, cover the pan and cook it for 7 to 8 minutes.

Open the cover of the pan and stir the recipe. Check the potatoes by pressing it with the stirring spoon. If the potatoes are not properly boiled, again cover it and cook it foe 5 to 6 minutes. Now slow down the burner.

Open the cover, your cabbage and potato recipe is ready now. Add mango powder and green coriander in it.

Take out the cabbage and potato recipe in a bowl and serve and eat hot with Bread and chapatti.
