Now a days, you may not get much vegetables in the market but raw Bananas will available in the huge amount. You can make different recipes from raw bananas such as Raw Banana Tikka Curry, Raw Banana Kofta Curry and Raw Banana Fry Recipe. Here, we are telling you the recipe of raw banana fry. This is the recipe which takes less time and less efforts.
Ingredients for Raw Banana Fry
Raw Bananas - 5-6 (500 gm)
Tomato - 2
Green chillies - 2
Ginger - 1 inch piece
Oil - 2 tbl. spoon
Asafoetida (Hing) - 1 pinch
Canola (Rai) - Half small spoon
Cumin seeds (jeera) - 1/4 small spoon
Turmeric powder - 1/4th small spoon
Coriander Powder (Dhaniya powder) - 1 small tbl. spoon
Red chilly powder - 1/4 small spoon
salt - to taste (3/4 tbl. spoon)
Coriander leaves - 2 table spoon (finely chopped)
How to cook Raw Banana Fry
Wash raw bananas well. Peel them and cut in the round shape.
Put them in a vessel and fill enough water in it so that the pieces of raw bananas can submerged easily. Put them on fire and mix 1/4 spoon turmeric powder and 1/2 half spoon salt in it.
Keep it boiling till they become softened. Then, put off fire, strain pieces and make them cool.
Take a Kadhai and put oil and heat it. Add Hing, Rai, ginger and cumin seeds in the hot oil. Put some turmeric powder and Dhaniya powder in it. Make a baghar of chopped tomato and green chillies and fry it till oil floats on this baghar. Add boiled raw bananas, red chilli powder and salt in it and stir them for 2-3 minutes with the help of big spoon. Put off fire and add some coriander leaves in it.
Raw banana fry is ready. Now keep it in the bowl and garnish with the remain chopped coriander leaves. Serve it with chapati, Parantha or rice.
