When you feel like having something sweet and salty on your fasts, you can prepare Singhada or Kuttu Atta Pakoda.
Ingredients for Singhada - Kuttu Atta Pakoda
Singhada/Kuttu Atta - 200 grams
Potatoes - 200 grams
Sendha Salt - 1/2 tsp or add to taste
Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
Green coriander(dhaniya) - 1 tbsp
Green chilli - 2 (finely chopped)
How to make Singhada - Kuttu Ataa Pakoda
Take Atta in a utensil and prepare a mix for Pakoda and beat well. Add Sendha salt, black pepper, green coriander, green chilli and mix properly.
Peel,wash potatoes then cut them into thin strips.
Put Ghee in a pan and heat. Mix cut potatoes in Kuttu Atta and put the potatoes wrapped in the mixture into hot Ghee with a spoon. Put 6-7 Pakodas in the pan in one go. Turn over the sides of the potatoes and fry till they turn brown. Take out the fried potatoes on a plate. Prepare all of the Pakodas in this same manner.
Singhada Kuttu Ataa Pakoda is ready. Serve them for lunch on your fast day and eat.
